FAQs

What should I know about replacing windows in an HOS flat?

Under the Buildings Department's Minor Works Control System, window replacement generally has to be carried out by a registered minor works contractor. Our Housing Authority windows are made to the Housing Authority specification, so parts and friction stays are easy to source later.

Can I change the shower screen or insect screens in a public rental flat?

Before making any alterations to a public rental flat, check with your estate office and get its consent first.

My window sash is loose or sagging. Do I need a whole new window?

Not necessarily. Often the friction stays are worn and can be replaced on their own. We make Housing Authority specification stays; WhatsApp us photos of the old stay and the sash to confirm the model.

Does LE-RELAX install?
